Lisbon is trending, but with tourism also came gentrification. In just 5 years, the small historic neighbourhood of Alfama went from 2 Airbnbs to 1700 and lost 80% of its population, forced to move due to the high rents. To help the residents pay the increasingly high values, we turned their clotheslines into an out of home network, where all the profits went to the families.
